the Bachelor - ABC gone wrong

I have watched the American television show "the Bachelor" since it first aired. I have watched all the seasons, all the episodes, and yes, all the drama and cat fights.

I had up until now thought they were real, and that it was an honest reality show. I do not really watch much television. I have less than 10 shows I ever watch. Usually I am more of a talk show, or news show viewer. Political shows are in the forefront. I am so particular as to what goes into my brain, that I have strong filters in place to not have so much trash in there. I have tried a few other reality shows and series shows, 90% just fall short to me.

Now, I am a strong proponent/advocate of Love and Happily Ever After. I do wish the best for others. I believe in relationships and meaningful lives being enter-twined. I do look for it everywhere around me, and smile in happiness.

This is the first season "the Bachelor" seriously failed in my scoring principles. At first I was willing to go along with it to a point, but upon introduction of the contestants, I became immediately suspicious. All contestants seemed legitimate but one. Shayne Dahl Lamas. Seriously here, how obvious of a set up could this have been?

From the very first time I heard she was an actress, and heard she was Lorenzo Lamas' daughter, I know this was some sort of phony put on season. You could have immediately guessed the outcome on this one. Then the more and more she was not eliminated, the more it was confirmed it was just a show for ratings.

What on earth were they thinking here? Let's be honest. What could ABC have been thinking to even do such a thing? Are ratings on that show so pathetic they have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for this gimmick? This was such a let down I cannot even fully write about it.

Let's face it, she isn't even much of an actress and essentially her career was over with, until "the Bachelor" was used to jump-start a failing career.

A look in the past.. her career consisted of :
..(1) 18 episodes of General Hospital, in which she must not have been too good cause I do not even remember her. And to be frank, there are no pictures I could even find of her while on that show. roflmbo!

(2) A movie with her father Lorenzo Lamas called "Air America" which was a box office bomb! Daddy gave her the part.

That is basically IT!!!

There has not been a single thing going on for her, since the first of 2006. Her so called career was dead in the water.

Since "the Bachelor" was in the works, she is suddenly working? She has that series, plus 3 more things going on? HOW CONVENIENT! One being such a bit part, she was referred to simply as "the red bikini girl"! LMAO!

Even her own father was suspicious of Shayne's motives for being on "the Bachelor". He said straight out that he thought her reasons for doing the show was "her opportunity to be on television", that she "wanted to be a star".

In all reality speaking, it appears the last 2 generations of Lamas' are bust. They really have nothing else to offer audiences. They are wash-ups. This was a way to get both Shayne and Lorenzo back in the public eye, hoping it would jump start both of their dying careers. How pathetic!

Each and ever single week that whining baby Shayne didn't get a rose, was a week that I knew this season was about as phony as a $3. bill. Sad but true. There was nothing sincere or legitimate about any of it. I believe it was predetermined who was going to be kept in until the very end. ABC who are you seriously kidding here? Shayne Lamas was a plant and it was all arranged through out who was going to be the "chosen one" at the ending.

I will even go out on a limb here and question whether "Matt Grant", himself, is interested in his acting career. Because this was one of the biggest acting jobs I have seen in ages. Matt Grant was all put on and I do not think a single thing of this series was legitimate at all. I just feel sorry for those 23 girls who were scammed.

All I can say is... SHAME on you ABC and the producers of "the Bachelor" cause you really made the show nothing more than a mockery now, and it lacks credibility now, since you have chosen to do something to ridiculous to it. Turned it into a failing sitcom instead of an actual reality show.

You have disappointed me 100% on this season and it will seriously make me rethink ever watching that show ever again. I for 1, do not like being conned. I suspect this was quite a con game. ABC you should know better. The viewing public is not THAT STUPID!

~ America At It's Worst! ~~ Part 2 ~ Our Dignity and Respect ~

This continues from my last post with similar title...


I am going to continue my last blog in this portion.. About the American Image being set forth by the American leaders like Hillary Clinton.

In general, it seems that when a bad image is perceived by another, it remains that way, until it is replaced. So essentially, what images big mouth politicians who are in a PUBLIC forum, shouting out such venomous crap remains in the minds of others globally, until it is replaced.
Usually only the negative is remembered for some reason, so it will remain for a very long time.

However, I believe that if all good, regarding the image, would sustain the forefront for a very long time, then perhaps the entire images could be reversed. Say in 25 years, as a good guessing point. I figure those who've heard it and seen it, are either too old to remember, or never cared in the first place, such as the way youth stands in today's society. roflmaoooooooo

What these politicians in office do not realize that even your reputations reflect on the entire county's image, which all factors into the state of its entire composition. Including financially. The image of America can even effect the state of the rates of exchange.

There are so many key factors that go into the state of the Countries, I believe that the politicians have no clue to what the verbal Diarrhea that comes from those who are in the news for various reasons, is exactly how the world views each of our own countries. Most of those who are in the news, either do not see how it reflects on us all, or just blatantly do not even care. Both to be just reprehensible.

No one in political office these days in America, even have any morals, common sense, dignity, and most of all, the ability to use proper decorum what so ever. Their LACK OF proprieties, are just unwavering. Being mean is more important to them then proprieties and respect.

For a single politician, or as a citizen, without proper respect for the positions of the President, and vice President, whether they like them or not, should not be questioned. It should just be common practice, to respect the higher positions and those who serve in them, regardless of personal feelings. It should be a factor in respecting those positions, and use decorum in their verbal communications, which reflect such.

Show Pride and Self Respect by supporting your leaders, whether you like them, agree with them, or not. Just do it out of properness and Loyalty to your Motherlands.

I just seriously feel, so much decay is happening in our Countries, especially in American, and it just grows in leaps and bounds. Please tell me where that pride is? I cannot see it? It has been missing since the Nixon Years in the White House. The Watergate scandal sort of kicked off decades of fallen Proprieties! There is nothing but shame in the American Government, as well as a some other governments.

We are in a BIG BULLY society. Everyone has got to be "BIG BULLY's". It is always the bad boy and bad girl attitudes. Respect is missing in our society. Gravely so.

Shame on all you bully's who cannot be great citizens, and have pride and respect.

Throw in the towel Hillary! Good Lord!!!!

When on on earth is that crazy woman going to admit defeat? Throw in the towel Hillary!!

This is exactly like the Al Gore situation where he refused to admit he lost the election back in 2000. He kept calling for recounts in so many different states. Wasn't it around 25 recounts in Dade County alone?

When on earth is this woman going to admit she is a loser?

She is currently making "ALL" democrats look like idiots, with her constant dividing of the party. She has no clue what it is doing to the image of the democrats. Just like she has no idea what her bashing of the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES, is looking like not only to her fellow Americans, but others globally.

When other countries see Americans bashing other American leaders, they join in and state the same things that is coming out of her UGLY mouth. Her venomous mouth. What garbage she regurgitates is giving all Americans a very bad image. The sad thing is it has grown to be so horrific in other countries, that it would take 100 years to turn the image of America back around.

Hillary needs to takes some sort of classes in how to act with dignity and decorum. She is lacking on so many levels. I, personally, am ashamed of Hillary Clinton in any position in government. Just as I was of her husband, Bill Clinton. They way I see it, they left a bad taste in our mouths for 8 years before, I do not want that same bad taste again.

I do not want to see the sacred Lincoln Bedroom rented out to the highest bidders. I do not want to see another turn of gifts to the citizens of America (well the American Government), being packed once again in her suit cases. That was seriously sad!

Hillary Clinton doesn't even have enough dignity to throw in the towel and bow out gracefully. Just like Al Gore didn't have when he lost 8 years ago. Hillary Clinton was obviously not raised with any sort of formal training in the ways that people in dignified positions should act and talk. I just have reached my limited with both of those Clinton's being in politics.
